Why do I feel anxious all the time? You’re probably not breathing very deeply. A huge portion of people who feel anxious have their breath caught up in their chest and it’s short. One of the best ways to really deal with your anxiety is to be really intentional about taking deep, long breaths. Bring yourself back into your body Because if you’re caught up and you’re not paying attention to your breathing and it’s short, and you’re thinking and then you’re feelings arise and everything gets tight you need to be able to create some
strategies to bring yourself back down. I always tell my clients that if they only learned one thing from me, it’s that. Ask yourself: Where is my breath right now? And then take a long deep breath. And repeat.
