We Don’t Have Time…

January 15, 2020

(Music) [ScientistsWarning.TV presents: We Don’t Have Time] (Last year’s event precedes launch of a social networking platform this year.) (Get involved at WEDONTHAVETIME.ORG) I want you to listen very carefully. (Ringing sound) (We Don’t Have Time) (The Climate Emergency Plan. Live broadcast November 24, 2018 ) We used to talk about climate change as something in the future. But it’s with us now. We must move fast. This is zero hour to act on climate change. Human beings and the natural world are on a collision course. The world is on track to be unlivable. The anxiety was eating me. The largest segment is either not very or fairly … just a little bit concerned. This is not a drill. I used to have to go out and search the past few years to find the slides I’d need for a presentation. I can tell you that Californians are feeling the pain right now. I can now go all within 2018 and find what I need. We have been seeing, in the last decades droughts, summer seasons becoming hotter and longer and drier. When forests get dry, they burn. California earlier this year Greece; Japan not known for its wildfires. Siberia Canada; United Kingdom Again in California, still burning It’s crucial that we who understand the urgency, start to act. I say get angry — get very angry. There’s an insane focus on just more and more and more and that is killing us. Humanity is always much too slow in reacting. Do something about it. Take action. Because if we run, others will follow. Perhaps you’ve heard of the old acronym Nimby — NIMBY — not in my back yard. A new one that I was made aware of a couple of weeks ago NIMTOO — not in my term of office (We Don’t Have Time. Join us at WEDONTHAVETIME.ORG) (We are currently developing the world’s largest social network on climate action!) (Together we can solve the climate crisis. But we are running out of time … ) Act! Join the Extinction Rebellion, (We thank WEDONTHAVETIME.ORG for permission to use and share.)

I am that frozen person in the midst awakened panicking, I simply don't know where to start. Overwhelmed and humbled by how deep we already are. I wish everyone could see this right now and not a day or week later.

We are way out of time. Answer this simple question if you have not figured it out: how will humanity get the heat, acid, and plastic out of the global ocean? Answer: It cannot.

We don't have time. The people I work with are much more interested in talking about Game of Thrones. Wetting their knickers in anticipation of the next series. I mention climate issues, I get this face 🙄. They are intelligent people. Microcosm of the world as a whole. It's game over, let's face it.

I'm not sure if this is relevant, or if anyone else has noticed, I used to see house spiders in the house at least once a week, and in the garden all the time
Well it's nearly 14 months since I last saw a spider anywhere, I just think it's a link in the chain that we are responsible for something not right 🤔😏🌏🌎🌍☠🗻🌋👽

Thank you, if I may be bold and say this, Urgency and anger, we need to un-plug at least 4 days a week from our electronic devices at least 5 times a week take your shoes and socks off and plant your feet on the ground and gaze towards the sky and stars above. We are all connected as a species in this way. Your message is very much needed especially in (mainstream reality).
    Thank you for reaching out
yet again on this unfolding ever worsening crisis. We must remain awake and cogent, fearless selfless and be willing to die for the truth of the devestationism and destruction of all living things. I send waves of radiant love and compassion out to all of the caretakers of our mother earth.
Love our earth, die for earth's salvation.

I believe that the only actual solution is going to be collapse. That it has to just play out now.
Yes we may go extinct, possibly we may take most of life down with us.
Hopefully in the far distant future, life will remerge from the bottom of the ocean, to create many new forms that will never know we ever existed and wonder at their place in the Universe.

One more day…                    We dally.                    We dither.                    Try to save our selves?                    Or continue as we are?                    To be or not to be?                    To exist or not exist?                    We have become Hamlet.                    We dither.                    We dally.                    One more day…   I have done some hospice work and even with all the facts facing one about to die there are many who will not or can not admit to the death of their body.  "And the band played on."  Is the attitude I am taking.  Acts of  beauty and kindness as we pass may be all we can do.  It is a great honor and responsibility to be the last human actors on this stage.  How shall we finish this play?  Let's make our last days our best.  The most important thing I can do is to let mercy, forgiveness, & acceptance be born anew each moment.  This is our duty. ALL THE BEST! GOOD LUCK!

Waking people up to how serious these 'consequences" truly are, is a tall order….even as it plays out all around them….I interact with lots of Tech professionals, they are clueless, it's disturbing….This is a battle we aren't meant to win….We are the asteroid….We are the reset…..what a colossal waste…..

I doubt it, we can tackle the problem caused by so few affecting so many

We certainly don't have time for more Trump! He has nothing to offer but catfights with HIS "ENEMIES." Trump is the leader who still wants to "take the oil" from under other peoples' countries. He has ignored terrible disasters on American territory on his watch and has done nothing but continue to squabble for fossil fuel driven war.

I liken our current state of affairs to being addicted to smoking. We know it's going to kill us- but probably not today. As a species we are at the point where we actually have cancer. But how to deal with that? Some say that the damage is already done, why bother quitting if we're just going to die anyway? Others purge anything unhealthy and make a change in their lives. But unfortunately as a planet, we all have the cancer together. If we don't all act together, we're doomed.
