My name is Jamelia
I’m 38 years old and this is the first ever time that
I’m going to vote in any election I have had a very serious
experience with the NHS, my daughter stopped breathing for four
minutes when she was five days old. I didn’t have a clue what to do and if it wasn’t
for the NHS she would not be here today. On the 13th of December the day
after the election, she will be turning 2 and she’s alive because of the NHS and
because of the service and care she received. It’s so imperative that everyone has
the opportunity to have their lives saved, to have their health protected.
We’ve all taken advantage of the NHS and use the NHS and for it to be privatised
means that people will literally die. People like my daughter
may not have survived. We’re experiencing catastrophic times
and I am very concerned about our society, I’m concerned about our education and
I’m very concerned about our NHS. I am someone who has used all of those
services, utilised all of those services and been able to thrive and flourish
because of those services. I cannot possibly vote for
anything other than labour. I cannot possibly
vote for anyone who does not want to protect
the lives of UK citizens. My name’s Jamelia and if you want
