HVAC Wisdom [Energy Efficiency Tip]

January 14, 2020

Throughout the first half of my career I
spent some time with a couple of engineering companies. What really
appeals a lot to me as I guess understanding a little bit of the
engineering data. Oil has a tendency to adhere to metal and so that means it’s
your refrigerant that’s coming from outside inside or going back out there
to get cooled once again is being restricted. If it’s not operating
efficiently you’re paying the price. Unit loses about 10 to 12 percent of its
efficiency the first year. We’ve had this you know five years we’ve lost you know
thirty percent you know twenty-five to thirty percent of the efficiency. This
will turn around and take it close to what it was it’s like we just installed a new unit.
